Letter of thanks from the Editor...

So this is the end!  I hoped I would never have to say that about The Bulletin.

I would like to say ‘thank you’ to all the people who have supported and believed in the paper over the past three years.

Particularly, I would like to thank those people who braved the elements all year round to make sure your issues of the paper were delivered.  All are volunteers and I hope all of them know how much I have valued their help.

Equally, thank you to all the businesses and groups who have advertised, many have been with the Bulletin since the first issue or soon after and have been the source of funding for the publication. I sincerely hope it has been a win-win situation and that you have gained custom from your advertising.

My gratitude also to Paul Craske for the excellent photographs and editorial help and Stephanie Sutton for her belief in The Bulletin and for being willing to fight for its survival.

Most of all, thank you to my husband, David and my mother Iris, for all their help, hard work and understanding.

I have enjoyed these three years greatly, but I know it is now time to stop.

Pat Kilbey

Editor

As I have been delivering papers this week there have been many individuals, businesses and organisations who have asked if they could help to save The Bulletin in any way - I am very grateful to them for their support and concern.  If there is a business or community group which feels it would like to try to keep the paper running through their own efforts then I would be pleased to give help and training.
